Pictures

Just a note: I did respond to a few comments on the previous post, so please feel free to keep the flow of that conversation going. (Jody, I have a question for you there.)

We went over to the Mill today to see Daddy while he was on break.
The boys with a few big Ash Logs. (I know we're weird, but we think trees are cool)
Here are the boys painting the Ziggurat. You can tell their getting ready to dance.
Here is the finished Ziggurat. (Well, we haven't installed the disco globe yet.)

disclaimer: It is NEVER safe to climb on a log pile. The boys know this and understand that they only climb on logs when we give them permission, and are present. Log piles can be very dangerous due to the logs rolling and people being pinned, crushed or trapped beneath them.

1. Thank you for the disclaimer. I was so worried.

2. Dangerous or not. The log pics are way cool.

3. Very neato Ziggurat. The disco ball will be the crowning glory.

4. My services are still available.

5. Especially since we now know that KPN is highly qualified.

Hello Julia, Greetings in the Name of Jesus. I happened upon your blog and wanted to leave you a note to say hi. The boys are getting so big. It has been a long time since we last seen you. Actually I believe you only had the oldest one then. It was so good to see you and your family.
Have a Blessed Day.

Eileen;

Boy, I feel weird calling you Eileen. Sorry, I'll have to stick with Sis. G (just in case you don't want everyone on the WWW to know your last name.) Anyway, I checked out your blog, Ruth's children are so adorable. Hope you all are doing well.

Good grief! I don't look at the computer for a few days, and look what my strange freinds are up to. Sea Breeze Campmeeting is coming up, and I think you guys should come for a special service.

Girlfriend I am amazed you are making it through D.Q.! You go!!
I was going to buy it at a second hand store but when I realized it was 2 books (in this edition) I just thought there is no way! Part of my discouragement with the SWB approach is that after I read the summaries I either really want to read the book or really don't want to read it. With D.Q. I am just so not interested in that story line--call me poorly educated--I'm fine with that, too.

Now it is up to you to make those poor souls like myself "want" to read it. I am anxious to read your reviews when you have time (which I totally understand may be never). Otherwise, I have decided I am going to read only the books I'm interested in and skip over the rest (totally contrary to her recommendations, of course).

Jenny;

Proof that you are well educated is that you actually read her reviews first. :) I didn't, so I came into Don with blessed ignorance. It really is a funny book though, I think you'd enjoy it. We are meeting next month for the next 10 chapters. You're welcome to make the long drive down to join us.

What's up with posting twice in a week?! I can't keep up! I can't believe I missed out on the previous post. I enjoyed reading everyone's comments though. I left a comment there as well.

I enjoyed all the new pics too. Cute boys. I saw your ziggurat and said out loud "what in the world?". It all makes sense after reading your previous posts:)

No, I truly am very poorly educated in literature--but I've always been good with cliff notes! Unlike Kimber's recent post I have read very little of SWB list.

I did want to compliment you on the Ziggurat--very cool and I can only imagine the effort mom put into that to make her boys day. They will definitely remember...

Your family is beautiful. Obviously your are a wonderful mother with all the instincts of love and care. The picture of your parents is priceless. Please give them my regards. School has resumed at HSBC with the hectic pace. Plans call for a trip to England this fall. Stay in touch.

Mr. Snider;

Thanks for your kind words. Isn't it tough when those crazy plans keep calling for you to head to Europe. I'll keep you in my prayers, I know how you hate to travel. :) Good to hear from you.
