Bedtime Song

Micah wanted to sing me a bedtime song tonight, I was so entertained I asked him if he would sing it again so I could video it. I thought the sage advice he gives in the song are words to live by. Enjoy and sleep tight.

Is it Mommy & Daddy getting a spanking if they don't get their "jammies" on???? :-)

Kim,
Oh no, he's talking about avoiding spankings by resting, because if you don't get enough rest you end up grumpy and not having self-control(I'm not sure where he has ever heard anything like that). And yes, it applies to the whole family! :)

Well, acting like a cow HAS been one of my pressing problems lately, so now I know I just need more rest!:)

Love it!!! (Esp. the fancy guitar playing!:)Love to All!

Great advice. Think I'll go take it. (However, if anyone shows up to give spankings I'm out of here.)

How adorable!!! I find that the talent of guitar playing is at our home also....minus a few missed chords!

I like the new look!!

I understand ALL ABOUT spankings and bedtime. ;-) We have one particular child that would rather be black and blue than go to bed.

-not that he "is" black and blue...

maybe just pink =:-O

So now we know the cause of Mad Cow Disease? I better go, I have some boys grazing in my backyard that I need to check on.

Just a note on the consequences...The point is you AVOID spankings and acting like a cow if you sleep. So Sonja as long as you're in bed and then have self control the next morning you're completely safe. :)

Kim;
I'm sorry you have a reluctant bedtimer. We are blessed in that area. While the boys rarely go right to sleep, they don't resist going to bed. However, we do have to deal with the infamous last drink and the repeated "need" to go potty.

We are SO loving this. (Can you hear the chant of "play it again"?)

I can also relate to the powerful message of this song...Getting jammies on can certainly help you not act like a cow!

My, but that boy has a future!! And the truth of the message. . . :-)

I made a slight blunder that if misunderstood might cause us to lose our monthly support. That's the reason the post disappeared. Maybe I'll post it later, if I can figure out how to edit a video.

Maybe he and I could do a co-write sometime.
