Very cute indeed!! I made Katy watch it because she gets so embarassed singing with the other kids in church so i wanted her to see this cute little guy. We both enjoyed it. I don't have any suggestions along the line of parenting books or videos right off hand. I am very excited to finally be having a boy and read bringing up boys though. I know I could have read it anyway but I haven't.

Liz, I really enjoyed that book too. It really made me look at movies and our culture differently. It is amazing how we are feminizing boys in our culture.

Glad you and Katy enjoyed Micah's song.

Anita;
Yes, the w in place of the L is common for him. He can finally say his L's but now he says them three times ie ho l-l-l y. So when he's singing we just let him stick with the W or the song would be too long. :)

Loved it! You're really cute, Micah! You must like to sing that song, 'cause you're singing it really well. Love, Sunshine Girl

I love watching his mouth and expressions. He is a blonde-haired version of you.

Have you gone back to godtube and checked out how many people have watched that video? Pretty interesting! I think it's unusual for a child so young to be able to sing that well and he looks so adorable between the faces he makes and his stopping to cough - he's gonna be famous! Well, at least on godtube he's heading that way. "-)

Love it, love it~ that's great! Inspires me to get more videos of Kathryn doing the 2 year old. Nathan says, "Only Julia would say, 'Start a little bit lower'" You can tell he's got a singer for a mommy.

We love it!!!
I love how he's so reverant on "to thee"...and how he says "Trinity": yep you can tell he has the genes!:)Truly a great thing!

Maybe this is a trend...Jen's kiddos also earnestly sing this...if so, a very good trend!

Oh wow. That's priceless. Can't wait to show the kids.

Personally, I would like to have heard him manage it in the original key. :) I'm sure he would have given it a valiant effort.

You're an awesome mom.

Hey All;

Thanks for the kind comments on this post. I'm glad we were able to bring a smile to your day.

Mary Ellen;
I went back to check Godtube after your message here. I too was shocked at the number of visits.

Dorcus;
Welcome. Glad to have you stop by. We are really going to miss having you all at camp this year, but understand how life changes with little ones.

Sarah;
Yes, the original key would have had him really straining. :) Glad you stopped by.

Kimber;
Too funny, Jenny and I must have some sort of brain connection sometimes. I'd LOVE to hear her kiddos sing it. I hope you had a great visit with her.

Hi, Julia!

I have seen your blog a few times but never stopped to say "hello". You have adorable boys and I loved getting caught up on your life a little bit. I think the "intentional" parenting you are doing is awesome! So many people I know seem to think that parenting just comes naturally but I can tell you are really investing in your kiddos!

The song your little guy sang is just precious and I am so amazed at his ability to carry a tume. It seems that he has a gift!

Blessings to you and those sweet guys!!
